Ingredients
8 large jalapeños, halved and deseeded
4 oz cream cheese, softened
½ cup shredded cheddar cheese
½ tsp garlic powder
¼ tsp onion powder
¼ tsp paprika
¼ tsp salt
¼ tsp black pepper
- For Breading (Optional for Extra Crunch):
1 large egg, beaten
½ cup panko breadcrumbs
¼ cup parmesan cheese

Directions
- Oven Method:
Preheat oven to 400°F and line a baking sheet with parchment paper.
Make the filling: In a bowl, mix cream cheese, cheddar, mozzarella, garlic powder, onion powder, paprika, salt, and pepper until smooth.
Fill the jalapeños: Spoon the cheese mixture into each jalapeño half.
(Optional) Bread the poppers: Dip each filled jalapeño into the beaten egg, then coat with panko-parmesan mixture for extra crispiness.
Bake for 15-18 minutes, until cheese is bubbly and tops are golden brown. - Air Fryer Method:
Preheat air fryer to 375°F.
Follow the same steps for filling and breading.
Air fry for 8-10 minutes, until crispy and golden brown.
Notes
- For extra heat, leave some jalapeño seeds in the filling!
Serve with ranch, sour cream, or chipotle mayo for dipping.
Try adding crumbled bacon to the cheese mixture for even more flavor.
