Ingredients
1 ribeye steak (10–12 oz, 1-inch thick)
6–8 large shrimp (tail-on, peeled and deveined)
1 medium russet potato
1 tablespoon olive oil
Salt and black pepper (to taste)
1 tablespoon butter (for potato)
- Garlic Herb Butter (for steak & shrimp):
2 tablespoons butter
1 garlic clove, minced
1 teaspoon chopped parsley (or dried)
½ teaspoon lemon juice (optional for shrimp)
Directions
- Prep the Potato: Scrub and pierce potato with a fork. Bake in toaster oven or oven at 400°F for 45–60 minutes, until tender.
- Make Garlic Butter: Melt butter and mix with garlic, parsley, and lemon juice (if using). Set aside.
- Season Steak: Brush ribeye with olive oil, season with salt and pepper.
- Grill or Broil Steak:
Grill: Cook over medium-high heat for 4–5 minutes per side (for medium-rare).
Broil: Place on broiler pan and broil 4–5 inches from heat for 4–6 minutes per side.
Let rest 5 minutes, then top with garlic butter. - Cook Shrimp: While steak rests, sauté shrimp in a pan with a bit of the garlic butter (1–2 minutes per side) or broil for 3 minutes until pink.
- Serve: Plate steak, shrimp, and baked potato with butter. Garnish with extra garlic butter if desired.
Notes
- ✅ Grilling gives great flavor, but broiling is a smoke-free indoor option.
✅ Want more flavor? Use a premade garlic herb butter or your favorite steak seasoning.
✅ Baked potato can be swapped for mashed or roasted if preferred.
