Ingredients
½ onion, thinly sliced
½ cup shredded provolone or mozzarella cheese
1 tablespoon olive oil
Salt and black pepper (to taste)
Olive oil spray (for air fryer or oven)
Dipping sauce (cheese sauce, spicy mayo, or ranch)
Directions
- Cook Filling: Sauté onions in olive oil until soft. Add steak slices, cook 2–3 minutes, season with salt and pepper. Let cool slightly, then mix in cheese.
- Assemble Rolls: Place filling in center of each wrapper. Roll tightly, sealing edges with water.
- Air Fryer: Spray with oil, air fry at 375°F for 8–10 minutes, flipping halfway.
OR Oven: Bake at 400°F for 12–15 minutes until golden and crispy. - Serve: Slice and serve hot with dipping sauce.
