Ingredients
1 lb ground beef
1/2 cup onion, diced
2 cloves fresh garlic, minced
2 tbsp tomato paste
1 tsp paprika
8 oz medium pasta shells
2 cups beef broth
1/2 cup heavy whipping cream
1½ cups shredded cheddar cheese
Salt and pepper, to taste
Directions
- Cook the Beef: In a large skillet, cook ground beef and onion over medium heat until browned. Add garlic and sauté for 1 minute. Drain excess grease.
- Add Seasoning & Pasta: Stir in tomato paste and paprika. Mix well. Add dry pasta shells and beef broth. Stir to combine.
- Simmer: Bring to a boil, then reduce heat and simmer uncovered for 10–12 minutes, stirring occasionally, until pasta is tender.
- Finish with Cream & Cheese: Stir in cream and cheddar cheese. Cook 1–2 more minutes until sauce is thick and creamy.
- Serve: Season to taste and serve hot.
Notes
- ✅ Use milk instead of cream for a lighter option
✅ Try with shredded mozzarella for a stretchier melt
✅ Add a splash of hot sauce or chili flakes for heat
