Ingredients
1 lb sirloin steak, thinly sliced against the grain
2 cups broccoli florets
2 tbsp soy sauce
2 tbsp low sodium soy sauce
1 tbsp corn starch
2 tbsp olive oil
2 tsp fresh garlic (cloves), minced
1 tsp fresh ginger, grated
2 tsp sesame seeds, optional
Optional: cooked white rice, for serving
Directions
- Make the Sauce:
In a bowl, mix soy sauces, garlic, and ginger. Set aside. - Prep the Steak:
Toss steak slices with cornstarch until evenly coated. - Sear the Beef:
Heat olive oil in a large skillet over medium-high. Sear steak in batches for 1β2 minutes per side until browned. Set aside. - Cook the Broccoli:
In the same skillet, add a splash of oil and the broccoli. Stir-fry for 3β4 minutes until crisp-tender. - Combine & Finish:
Return steak to the pan. Pour in the sauce. Stir everything together and cook for another 2β3 minutes. Top with sesame seeds if desired.
