Ingredients
1 lb chicken tenders (or boneless, skinless chicken breast cut into strips)
2 tablespoons milk
½ cup all-purpose flour
1 cup panko breadcrumbs
¼ cup grated Parmesan (optional)
1 teaspoon garlic powder
1 teaspoon onion powder
½ teaspoon smoked paprika
½ teaspoon salt
½ teaspoon black pepper
Cooking spray or oil spray
Directions
- Set Up Breading Station: In one bowl, whisk together flour, garlic powder, onion powder, smoked paprika, salt, and pepper. In a second bowl, whisk eggs and milk. In a third bowl, mix panko and Parmesan.
- Bread the Chicken: Dredge each chicken tender in flour mixture, dip into egg wash, then coat in panko. Press the breadcrumbs firmly for maximum crispiness.
- Air Fry: Preheat the air fryer to 400°F (200°C). Lightly spray the tenders with oil and place them in the air fryer basket. Cook for 10-12 minutes, flipping halfway through, until golden brown and cooked through.
- Serve: Let cool slightly and enjoy with ketchup, honey mustard, or ranch!
Notes
- ✅ For extra crispy tenders, lightly spray with oil before and halfway through cooking.
✅ Cooking time may vary depending on the thickness of your chicken.
✅ Try different coatings! Swap panko for crushed cornflakes or seasoned breadcrumbs. - CLICK HERE to see which Air Fryers I recommend.
