Ingredients
2 cups cooked white rice
2 cups cooked shredded boneless skinless chicken breasts
1 cup frozen peas
1 cup shredded cheddar cheese
1 can cream of chicken soup (or homemade)
Β½ cup milk
Β½ cup sour cream
Salt and pepper to taste
Optional topping: Β½ cup crushed crackers or breadcrumbs
Directions
- Preheat Oven: Preheat oven to 375Β°F. Grease a baking pan.
- Mix Filling: In a large bowl, combine rice, shredded chicken, peas, soup, milk, sour cream, half the cheese, salt, and pepper. Stir until well mixed.
- Assemble: Pour mixture into baking dish. Top with remaining cheese and optional cracker topping.
- Bake: Bake uncovered for 25β30 minutes, until bubbly and golden on top. Serve warm.
