Ingredients
1 lb ground beef
1/2 cup onion, chopped
1 clove fresh garlic, minced
1 can cream of chicken soup
2 tbsp ketchup
1 tbsp yellow mustard
2 cups shredded cheddar cheese, divided
Salt and black pepper, to taste
1 (32 oz) bag frozen tater tots
Directions
- Brown the Beef: In a skillet over medium heat, cook the ground beef, chopped onion, and garlic until browned. Drain excess grease.
- Mix the Filling: Stir in cream of chicken soup, ketchup, mustard, and 1 cup of shredded cheddar cheese. Season to taste with salt and pepper.
- Assemble: Spread the beef mixture evenly into a greased 9x13 baking dish. Top with a single layer of frozen tater tots.
- Bake: Bake uncovered at 375Β°F for 30 minutes. Sprinkle the remaining cheese over the top and return to the oven for 5β7 more minutes, or until melted and bubbly.
- Serve: Let cool slightly before slicing and serving warm.
