  • Boil Pasta: Cook ziti in salted water until al dente. Drain and set aside.
  • Cook Sausage: In a skillet, brown Italian sausage with onion. Add garlic and cook 1 minute more. Drain excess grease.
  • Mix & Layer: In a bowl, mix sausage mixture with marinara, garlic powder, and cooked pasta. Stir in half of the mozzarella and all of the parmesan.
  • Bake: Transfer to a greased baking pan, top with remaining mozzarella, and bake at 375°F for 20–25 minutes until bubbly and golden.
  • Rest & Serve: Let rest 5 minutes before serving.
