This Air Fryer Salmon is the easiest way to get crispy, golden edges with a tender, flaky inside—all in minutes! Whether you need a quick weeknight meal or a healthy, high-protein dish, this recipe delivers restaurant-quality results with minimal effort.
Ingredients
2 salmon fillets (about 6 oz each)
- Seasoning Blend
1 tablespoon olive oil
1 teaspoon garlic powder
1 teaspoon smoked paprika
½ teaspoon salt
½ teaspoon black pepper
½ teaspoon dried oregano or thyme (optional)
- Extras
Lemon wedges (for serving)
Fresh parsley (for garnish)
Directions
- Preheat the air fryer to 400°F (200°C). Lightly grease the air fryer basket with oil or nonstick spray.
- Pat the salmon fillets dry with a paper towel. This helps the seasoning stick.
- In a small bowl, mix together olive oil, garlic powder, smoked paprika, salt, black pepper, and dried oregano or thyme (if using).
- Brush the seasoning blend over the salmon fillets, coating both sides evenly.
- Place the salmon fillets in the air fryer basket, skin-side down. Make sure they are not touching for even cooking.
- Cook for 7–10 minutes, depending on thickness. The salmon should be flaky and reach an internal temperature of 145°F (63°C).
- Remove from the air fryer and let rest for a couple of minutes.
- Serve with lemon wedges and fresh parsley for garnish.
