Ingredients
1 lb large shrimp (peeled & deveined)
8 oz pasta (fettuccine or penne)
1 tablespoon olive oil
1 tablespoon butter
2 cloves fresh garlic (minced)
1 cup heavy cream
Β½ cup grated parmesan cheese
1 tablespoon Cajun seasoning
Salt & pepper (to taste)
Directions
- Cook Pasta: Cook pasta according to package instructions. Drain and set aside.
- Cook Shrimp: In a skillet, heat olive oil and butter. Add shrimp, season with Cajun seasoning, cook 2β3 mins per side. Remove and set aside.
- Make Sauce: In same skillet, sautΓ© garlic 1 min. Add cream, parmesan, salt, pepper. Simmer 3β5 mins until thickened.
- Combine: Add cooked pasta and shrimp to sauce. Toss to coat. Serve hot.
